The name “Limpopo” has its etymological origin in the Northern Sotho language word diphororo tša meetse, meaning “strong gushing waterfalls” The capital is Polokwane (formerly Pietersburg).

A comprehensive Health & Safety Manual and Hazard Register support these systems.
For every large-scale project, a Safety Management Plan is prepared. Detail of Health and Safety procedures to be implemented for each project are contained in the Safety management Plan, which is submitted prior to the commencement of work.
